There are dozens of rough sleepers in Birmingham and thousands of homeless people.

A startling study from Shelter claimed there could be as many as 10,000 homeless people.

Many homeless people up and down the country have reported to have died from hyperthermia through the winter months, with a 30 year old man dying on the streets of Birminfham in the winter of 2016.

To help counter this shocking situation and bring some ease to the homeless of Birmingham, our ‘Clothe the Homeless’ campaign is a new project launced by Al Qadr Media in Birmingham.

Shaykh Muhammad Abdul Jabbar and a group of volunteers aim to meet the needs of the homeless men and women, regardless of their beliefs or faith, with clothing and necessities for life on the streets while enduring different seasons and weather.

Allaah says in the Qur’aan.

“(O Prophet!) Tell those of My servants who believe that they should establish Prayer and spend out of what We have provided them with, both secretly and openly, before there arrives the Day when there will be no bargaining, nor any mutual befriending. [14:31]

This project is ran and funded by Shaykh Muhammad Abdul Jabbar himself and shall be video recorded by our media team and uploaded to the Al Qadr Media Website and Youtube channels, bi’idhnillaah.
